description Brunet Island is a 1,224 acre park framed by the Chippewa and Fisher Rivers. There are ample recreation opportunities including boating, fishing and canoeing among the islands formed by the confluence of the two rivers. Vistors can also hike, bike, picnic and more.
drivingDirection Brunet Island is located just north of the city of Cornell in northern Chipppewa County. Take State Hwy '64' to Park Road. Take Park Road north about 1 mile to the park entrance.

importantInformation South Campground is open year-round, although sites are not plowed during the winter.
